Club!
Suitable for secondary school ages: 11 - 16 yr olds / yrs
7-11
Join us each Wednesday this summer for our hugely popular Teen Chef
Summer Holiday Cooking Club! Over six fun-filled weeks our future
foodies will explore exciting flavours from around the world
alongside comforting classics from home.
With a menu designed especially for teens, our hands-on classes
build kitchen confidence and essential cooking skills in a relaxed,
social setting. Each session includes guided demonstrations and
plenty of opportunity to get creative preparing a selection of both
sweet and savoury dishes - perfect for impressing friends and
family!
Whether they’re first-time cooks or budding Masterchefs, students
will develop a range of techniques including: chopping, slicing,
dicing, whisking, mixing, creaming, crumbing, layering… and plenty
more!

Week Three - Wednesday 6th August: Tex Mex Madness! Who
doesn't love an enchalada? Stuffed with chilli beef, wrapped in a
soft wheat flour tortilla and baked in oozy cream and cheese, plus
a little spicy salsa number on the side along with a zesty
mashed-up guac. Get wrapping again, this time making your very own
'dulche de leche' empanadas for a sweet finish... and that's a
wrap!

Picnic - Mini Scotch Eggs, Quiche Lorraine/Strawberry Eaton Mess,
Homemade Lemonade
Week Five - Wednesday 20th August: Travelling South-East…Spring
rolls, Samosas/hummingbird cupcakes
Week Six - Wednesday 27th August: Home from school snack time…
homemade tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, onion rings/peanut
butter and raisin cookies
(Please note menus are examples and subject to availability of
ingredients on the day)
What’s included:
All tuition and ingredients; you will be provided with an apron to
wear and refreshments will be available throughout the session, you
will receive an electronic version of all recipes and a certificate
of attendance.

Ticket Fees & Giving Back
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), Blend Culinary Foundation's
mission is to provide meals for those in need through our 1 million
meals pledge. By attending one of the events at our Cookery School
you are supporting that mission.
To keep our events running smoothly and accessible to
everyone, we use DesignMyNight for ticketing and they charge a
booking fee per ticket, which helps cover processing costs and
platform support. To ensure we can continue delivering impact,
we’ve chosen to pass on this fee so that more funds can go directly
to our cause.

The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue operates a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
